El actor inglés Hugh Laurie, reconocido a nivel mundial por su protagónico en la serie “Dr. House”, descubrió una estrella en su honor en el famoso Paseo de la Fama, en Hollywood.
Con 57 años y dos premios Globo de Oro en su haber, Laurie recibió la estrella 2.593, la cual fue ubicada cerca de la de otros compatriotas suyos como Emma Thompson, Colin Firth y Helen Mirren, entre otros. Además de protagonizar al talentoso pero irascible “Dr. House”, serie que cuenta con una legión de fans en todo el mundo, el actor también cuenta con seguidores entre los más chicos, a raíz de su labor como padre del ratoncito “Stuart Little”, en la homónima serie de películas.
Por otra parte, Laurie publicó en 1996 “The gun seller”, una exitosa novela de suspenso, y actualmente también se lo puede apreciar en su faceta musical, al frente de una banda de blues. En ese rol, grabó el disco “Let them talk”, en 2011, en el cual se reveló como un notable cantante y pianista.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my
4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
