Este lunes, la MLS (Major League Soccer) anunció su equipo ideal, votado por los propios jugadores, dirigentes de los clubes y miembros de la prensa. En dicha formación, aparecen los argentinos Ignacio Piatti y Mauro Díaz. Además, fueron elegidas otras figuras internacionales como David Villa, Giovani dos Santos y Sebastian Giovinco.
Nacho Piatti fue la gran figura del Montreal Impact, que llegó a la final de la Conferencia Este, donde cayó ante Toronto FC. El ex San Lorenzo lideró al equipo y fue el tercer goleador del certamen, con 17 tantos. Díaz, por su parte, brilló en el Dallas FC que ganó, con record de puntos, la conferencia Oeste, aunque luego cayó en semifinales de los playoffs. El ex River logró 13 asistencias, siendo el mejor del equipo en ese rubro.
El equipo: Con un esquema de 3-4-3, los once elegidos en la formación ideal fueron: Andre Blake (Philadelphia Union); Axel Sjoberg (Colorado Rapids), Matt Hedges (Dallas FC), Jelle Van Dmme (Los Angeles Galaxy); Mauro Díaz (Dallas FC), Giovani dos Santos (LA Galaxy), Sacha Kljestan (New York Red Bulls), Ignacio Piatti (Montreal Impact); Sebastian Giovinco (Toronto FC), Bradley Wright-Phillips (New York Red Bulls), David Villa (NY City FC).
