Se trata de un clan familiar organizado alrededor de la venta de drogas en la zona norte de la provincia de Buenos Aires. El líder era un hombre de 41 años de edad que junto a su esposa, su padre y dos yernos distribuían droga en los barrios que abarcan las zonas de Campana y Zárate. La Policía Federal los estaba investigando desde principios de año y tenía a todos los integrantes identificados.
La operación consistió de 14 allanamientos ordenados por el Juzgado Federal de Campana, a cargo del Dr. González Charvay. Como consecuencia, se detuvo al cabecilla y sus parientes y el resto de quienes conformaban el clan delictivo y se incautaron 15 envoltorios con dosis de cocaína fraccionadas; 2 kgs de marihuana; 16 plantas de marihuana; balanzas de precisión; teléfonos celulares; dinero en efectivo por más de $ 27.000,- y 6 vehículos.
Los efectivos del Departamento Antidrogas Campana de la Policía Federal, fuerza encabezada por Néstor Roncaglia, determinaron que la banda tenía puntos de venta fijos y que utilizaba dealers para trasladar la droga a los distintos barrios. El líder de la banda, pese a que el único trabajo que se le conocía era en una despensa, llevaba una vida ostentosa: tenía varias propiedades y vehículos de alta gama a su nombre.
Los detenidos fueron trasladados en calidad de incomunicados hasta la Superintendencia a la espera de ser indagados por el juez. El operativo contó con la participación de Brigadas de las Divisiones Operaciones e Investigaciones de Campana, Antidrogas Concordia y Rosario y las Divisiones Canes Detectores de Drogas y Lavado de Activos.
