Representantes del Ministerio de Justicia participaron de un encuentro sobre mediadores comunitarios que se desarrolló el Miércoles 19 de Abril, en el CIC del barrio La Paz ubicado en 892 y 802 de San Francisco Solano, para informar a los vecinos los beneficios de acceder a la mediación comunitaria y al consultorio jurídico gratuito del Municipio de Quilmes.
La actividad fue organizada por la Secretaría Legal y Técnica que dirige el Dr Ignacio Carlos Alberto y contó con la presencia del director provincial de Métodos Alternativos de Resolución de Conflictos, doctor Ezequiel Borra Martín, quien se refirió a la “Aproximación a la mediación comunitaria. Perspectivas y desafíos”.
La mediación comunitaria es un servicio gratuito ofrecido por el gobierno municipal que busca otorgar un espacio de diálogo directo y participativo entre dos o más personas que tienen un conflicto. A su vez, permite solucionar numerosos conflictos que no ingresarían al ámbito judicial, ya sea por la temática involucrada, por la falta de recursos económicos para afrontar los gastos o, porque la partes no creen necesario recurrir a la instancia judicial.
La actividad forma parte de las prestaciones que ofrecen los abogados que integran el Consultorio Jurídico municipal a los vecinos en los distintos Centros de Gestión Ciudadana de Quilmes y CIC de la Iapi, La Paz, La Ribera y Santo Domingo.
En su oportunidad, el ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos de la Nación, Germán Garavano, visitó el Centro de Gestión de San Francisco Solano donde resaltó el trabajo que los profesionales municipales brindan a la comunidad.
