El senado de la Provincia de Buenos Aires convirtió en ley el proyecto que obliga a legisladores y funcionarios del sector público a presentar sus declaraciones juradas patrimoniales.
“Este es un paso clave en la lucha contra la corrupción. En una jornada donde, lamentablemente, parte de la mala política volvió a mostrar sus malas costumbres, pudimos de todos modos avanzar con el tratamiento de temas muy importantes para nuestra provincia, como es – sin duda alguna – el proyecto de presentación de declaraciones juradas patrimoniales que cumple con uno de los grandes reclamos ciudadanos que tiene ver con transparentar la labor política” afirmó Walter Lanaro, quien encabezó el tema en el Senado provincial y continuó “Esta iniciativa viene a complementar las medidas ya impulsadas por la Gobernadora María Eugenia Vidal y el gobierno provincial, a partir de las cuales, hemos podido dar importantes pasos en este sentido. Una declaración jurada patrimonial obligatoria, con datos de acceso público, para que los bonaerenses sepan cómo venimos a la política y cómo nos vamos. Esto es parte del cambio. Es entender que nuestro trabajo es dar respuestas, dar explicaciones, que política es estar al servicio de los ciudadanos y no servirnos de ellos”
El proyecto sancionado establece la obligatoriedad de presentar declaraciones juradas patrimoniales para el Poder Legislativo (Diputados y Senadores; Secretarios y prosecretarios; Contador, Tesorero, Auditor y Habilitado; Directores, Subdirectores, personal de jerarquía equivalente; y personal que intervenga en el manejo de fondos públicos); para todo el Sector Público Provincial, la administración central; las entidades descentralizadas; empresas y sociedades del Estado; fondos fiduciarios; toda otra organización, institución o fondo al que se haya otorgado subsidios o aportes, o cuya administración, guarda o conservación esté a cargo del Estado. Asimismo, invita a sumarse a los 135 Municipios, a sus concejos deliberantes; a las asociaciones gremiales; al poder judicial y toda entidad que administre derechos e intereses entre el sector público y la ciudadanía.
Vale destacar que estarán exceptuados de la obligatoriedad de presentar su declaración jurada patrimonial, tal lo establecido en el art. 5 del proyecto de ley: a) Los maestros que desempeñan tareas docentes y b) Los candidatos a cargos electivos en la Provincia de Buenos Aires que en función de su desempeño como funcionarios públicos obligados por la presente Ley ya hubieran presentado la Declaración Jurada Patrimonial.
