El intendente inauguró las obras realizadas en la Av. Debenedetti y la Autopista Bs. As. – La Plata. También entregó nuevos equipos de comunicación a los agentes de la fuerza.
El Martes 21 de Marzo, el jefe comunal inauguró las instalaciones de una nueva base de la Policía Local ubicada en Av. Debenedetti y la Autopista Buenos Aires – La Plata, de Dock Sud, que cuenta con una Oficina de Control y Supervisión, Cocina, Sanitarios y Oficina Privada.
Se invirtieron $ 1.400.000,- en toda la construcción y el entorno de esta base, gracias a un aporte de la empresa Shell, que durante el mismo acto, representada por Fernando Rolando, su gerente de Relaciones Institucionales, firmó un convenio con la comuna mediante el cual le cede al municipio estas instalaciones.
Además, durante el encuentro Ferraresi hizo entrega de 21 nuevos equipos de comunicación completos, en los cuales la Municipalidad de Avellaneda invirtió $ 1.983.247,95. Estos equipos se suman a los 45 que ya se entregaron previamente, y a los 30 que está previsto sumar a lo largo de 2017.
Del acto participaron el jefe de Gabinete de la comuna, Pablo Vera, el secretario de Obras Públicas, Ariel Lambezat, el secretario de Producción, Humberto Borsani, el director de Policía Municipal, Marcelo Rey y el jefe de la Policía Local de Avellaneda, Comisario Gregorio Martínez.
