Como viene ocurriendo cada octubre desde hace varios años, abrió sus puertas Autoclásica, el evento de autos y motos de colección más importante de la región. Hasta el lunes, en el Hipódromo de San Isidro, la decimosexta edición de esta muestra recibirá a piezas de la industria nacional y mundial, que este año rinde homenaje a distintos emblemas de la historia del automóvil.

La muestra se suma a los festejos por los 50 años del inicio de la venta del Torino. Considerado como «el» auto argentino por excelencia, apenas se ingresa por el acceso peatonal (la entrada cuesta 190 pesos) de Autoclásica uno se topa con 11 ejemplares de distintos años y versiones, entre los que se incluyen un Lutteral Comahue SST y un Tiwle Convertible. El Torino se fabricó en Córdoba entre 1966 y 1982 y en total se hicieron 99.792 unidades.

Si, en cambio, el ingreso se hace en auto (el costo de la estadía es de 130 pesos y todo lo recaudado será destinado a la adquisición de equipos de alta complejidad para el Hospital Materno Infantil de San Isidro), el primer impacto será el despliegue de vehículos Jaguar. Unas 40 unidades de todos los tiempos permiten recorrer la historia del reconocido fabricante británico.

En el centro del enorme despliegue de Jaguar, aparecen dos novedades actuales: el recientemente lanzado XE y, a modo de adelanto, el F-Pace, el primer 4×4 de la marca, que llegará a la Argentina en marzo. Será ofrecido con una versión diesel 2.0 de 180 caballos, que tendrá un precio aproximado de 120 mil dólares, y un par de versiones nafteras 3.0 de 340 caballos, con valores que se ubicarían entre los 150 y los 170 mil dólares.

Dos ejemplares muy especiales tiene Renault en su stand. Bajo el lema Speed Legends (Leyendas de la velocidad), por primera vez llegan a América, directamente desde Francia, el Etoile Filange y un Dauphine sport derivado de un modelo de 1961. El Etoile Filange, propulsado por una turbina, estableció hace 60 años el récord de velocidad, al alcanzar los 308,9 km/h en el desierto de Boneville, en Utah. En el espacio de la marca francesa también aparecen dos vehículos eléctricos (Twizy y Kangoo) y la gama deportiva actual, compuesta por el Fluente GT, el Sandero RS y el Mégane RS.

Una exhibición especial tendrá BMW, que celebrará sus 100 años como marca. Unos 25 autos y otras 15 motos de todas las épocas (se destacan unos preciosos 328) se despliegan en el predio para mostrar la tradición de la empresa de Munich.

Otro que tiene un festejo redondo es el Chevrolet Camaro. En total serán más de 20 ejemplares que se exponen, entre los que se incluyen versiones de la serie original, hasta una variante cupé y otra convertible de la última generación que se comercializó en nuestro mercado (la nueva llega el año próximo al país).

El Mercedes-Benz 300 SL que perteneció a Juan Manuel Fangio, el Barrio de las Motos, una carpa dedicada a la competición, con ejemplares que fueron pilotados por Fangio, Froilán González, Juan Gálvez y Carlos Alberto Reutemann; un especial de la mítica Ruta 40, el circuito dinámico y vehículos militares, entre tantas otras atracciones, es lo que ofrecerá hasta el lunes, de 9 a 18,30 horas, esta muestra que desde este año es considerada uno de los ocho eventos de autos clásicos más importantes del mundo.
