Coral es bella, sensual, cálida y con una voz increible. Es compositora, multi instrumentista y actriz nacida en Argentina, oriunda de Villa Devoto. Editó 7 discos de estudio y desarrolló la mayor parte de su carrera en Estado Unidos.
En esta nota con Semanario Argentino, te contamos mas acerca de esta talentosa cantante.
Desde temprana edad su familia notó en ella una veta artística. Desde que tiene uso de razón, estudia canto y guitarra. A los 13 años, ya componía sus propios temas y a los 17, firmó contrato con una importante discográfica. Así se asentaron bases de la carrera de Coral Campopiano, una chica de barrio que, además de obtener éxito a nivel internacional, tocó con destacadas personalidades en el mundo de la música.
Cuando se encontraba en el último año de secundaria y estaba haciendo el CBC para Derecho, su vida dio un giro: Tras subir al escenario de Altromondo (disco de la zona) a tocar una canción junto a su hermano, la llamaron de la firma BMG ofreciéndole un importante contrato.
En 2002, decidió ir a visitar unos amigos en Miami, donde comenzó a tocar y descubrió el potencial que tenía hacer una carrera allí. Así fue como se mudó a Nueva York, donde se anotó en una escuela de actuación, mientras continuaba componiendo y haciendo presentaciones.
Dos años después, lanzó “La Tercera”, un trabajo que le permitió conocer gente importante en el mundo de la música y que, de la mano de la discográfica Pop Art, vino a presentar al país en lugares como La Trastienda, el Quilmes Rock y el Pepsi Music.
En los 9 años que vivió en el exterior, tuvo la posibilidad de conocer figuras como Michael Jackson, Gustavo Santaolalla y hasta Mick Jagger. Además, compartió escenario con Cabas, Fito Páez, Julieta Venegas, Soraya y Babasónicos, entre otros tantos artistas. Sus discos: Rock & Dolls, La Tercera, Lights, Volver, The C Inside

Si bien ha obtenido grandes logros, aún le queda mucho por hacer. Por eso está tocando mucho en Buenos Aires y el último corte de su disco es «Feels so right» está sonando fuerte en las radios y en la TV. Sus shows en Gorriti Art Center, en el barrio de Palermo son impactantes. Se presentará el 4 de Agosto, para finalmente a fines de este mes desembarcar en Miami.
Hasta se animó a cantarnos «a capella» y nos deslumbró. Sin lugar a dudas Coral quiere ser profeta en su tierra y lo está logrando.
